Do you ever find yourself freaking out about how you’re going to get ALL THE THINGS on your to-do list done?
If you do, here are a few tips to help you get your head in the game and tackle all of those tasks, one by one.

Try to wake up 15 to 20 minutes earlier.
The extra time will allow you to truly wake up and get ready (maybe even meditate) for the day. It’s awesome because if you have to leave for work by a certain time, you can do so ON TIME! Just don’t check your emails BEFORE you get to work. It can be a real mood killer.
Prioritize your list.
When you get to work, look for the BIG items that need to be done TODAY and work on those first. Once you get one done, mark it off and go on to the next one. All of the other items are considered “small items”. Set deadlines for each item to motivate you to get them done. Be sure to include emails to this list. If you set specific times to check your emails, you’ll be less distracted during the day. If you’re a real “go-getter”, try to tackle those BIG items before lunch. That way your brain is still fresh and when you get back from lunch, you can tackle all the small stuff; one at a time of course.
Take breaks.
Step away from your computer for 15 minutes to give your eyes and brain a break. Grab a snack (“serial snacking” is permitted), go outside, or refill your drink – just get away from your computer for a few minutes to get your thoughts together. Trust me. Your brain will thank you.
Once you really get into the swing of things, it’ll be “easy peezy, lemon squeezy” to get stuff done during the day. Just remember: take on your tasks ONE AT A TIME. Now “go get ‘em tiger!”
