Do you ever find yourself sitting by the window, thinking about how good the sun must feel, how crisp or fresh the air is, or wanting to hear the songs from the little birds outside? Do you want to go outside, but you have SO much to do at home or at work that you just can’t find the time? Well, here’s a solution: open the window.

If you happen to work remote, opening the window will make all the difference. You can hear the birds sing, you can feel the breeze come in, and you will feel a sense of calm. When you feel the breeze, take a moment to close your eyes and breathe it in. That mini meditation moment will clear your mind of any distractions and help you get back on task.
If you are home with the kids and outside isn’t exactly an option, open the window. Have your kids sit by the window, and ask them questions. What do they see? What do they hear? What do they feel? If you have a list of chores that need to be done, make a game out of them. It’s more fun that way and the kids will love this “new” way of doing chores!
Being indoors, whether working or just “chilling” doesn’t have to be stuffy. The fresh air coming through the house along with the heat of the sun shining through the windows will help you recharge and just feel…better. Remember, it’s a new month, a new season, and a new day. If you’re “stuck” inside and it’s nice out, just open the window. It’ll make all the difference.
