99% of the time those one-page flyers do not translate to social. By default, flyer content is not optimized for social media. A flyer traditionally is produced for a certain medium, like a PDF or printing a physical document. Taking a screenshot of that bad boy and posting it on Linkedin will make the image look distorted, not to mention the negative view on your brand. If you are going to build a flyer for social, then build it in the best format for that specific channel.

Many millennials may still live with their parents but that doesn’t mean people born between 1981 and 1997 don’t have their eyes on the prize: a home of their own. In fact, 61 percent of first-time homebuyers are under age 35.

The CFPB announced settlements with three mortgage lenders (Here, Here & Here) for mailing consumers advertisements that allegedly contained misleading statements or lacked required disclosures. These companies were alleged to have skirted the rules regarding advertising, credit terms, skipping payments, and claims about being affiliated with the government. Two of the lenders also allegedly used the name of the consumer's current lender in a misleading way, and misrepresented that consumers would receive specific escrow refund amounts if they refinanced their mortgages, even though the advertised amounts "were calculated using a methodology that had no bearing on the actual escrow refund amount," and consumers were often required to fund new escrow accounts upon generating new loans.
