This year our BOEArkansas team held a booth at the annual Chili Fights in the Heights event that took place in the Heights of Little Rock. The team didn't place in the chili contest - but they connected with the community! They handed out BOE cookbooks, personalized chili bowls and sponsored the "specialty" awards at the end of the day (such as the "Chili-plosion" award that was given to the last place team). All proceeds made went to support the Arkansas Food Bank. The Arkansas Foodbank helps to find pathways to connect people, resources and food to reach those in need, providing dignity, hope and a brighter future for all Arkansans.

The one common feature of all social media platforms is that they allow you to "share." Whether this is a photo, text, link to a website, blog or video - what you share is meant to help your audience and be a reflection back on you and your business. Before you actually go ahead and hit 'send', 'like', or 'tweet', sit back and evaluate what you're about to share. It should be helpful and educational, yet interesting and engaging, and it should not always be all about you or your business.
