You Spoke, We Listened

You Spoke, We Listened

Until recently, as a borrower placed documents into their DocDrop uploader you received an email for each one. Then you had to click the link in that email to review that document only. A few of you expressed that this was a very cumbersome and inefficient process and we agree! In the new DocDrop, every 5 minutes it will check to see if you have any documents we haven't told you about yet. If so, you will get one email with one link but all of the documents for that borrower will be there. You will have the same options - view in new window, download, send to Encompass, and reject - for each document. At any point, a borrower can come back and throw a few more in there and we'll let you know.

Why is Social Media for LO’s Important?

Why is Social Media for LO's Important?

There are two main reasons to use social media as a loan officer. The first is that it shows borrower leads that you’re an active loan officer if they find you through a social media channel. The second is that it shows search engines that you’re active, and can, when done correctly, give your search engine result page ranking a boost. This means it might be easier for new leads to find you if they run generic searches during their home financing process like "loan officer in Raleigh."

Websites, including cobranding with realtors, etc, landing pages, and any social media channels (Facebook, Linked in, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Blog, Google+, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, SnapChat etc). If you mention what you do or BOE in any way shape or form, we need to know that you are doing so.

Highlight Perks over Size

Highlight Perks over Size

Yes, square footage matters. But millennials are more concerned about their commuting costs and how close their new home is to schools. In fact, most millennial buyers said they were least likely to compromise on school and neighborhood quality when deciding which home to buy. So, highlight the benefits of your home’s fabulous location instead of wasting time trying to sell on its size
