Love Your Home AgainYou know how when you first move into a new space you love it so much, but then slowly resentment sets in? Like, at first that bit of peeling paint starts to chafe you, and before you know it you're looking to hammer in the 'For Sale As Is', sign on your lawn? Well it happened to me with my kitchen. BOE Buzzards Bay Leads by ExampleA small civic organization decided three years ago that an inter-club Christmas Party was insufficient to meet the needs of local residents. "We do several charitable drives year round as well as fundraisers and special events," said ,” said Lisa Simmons, Mortgage Banker at Bank of England Mortgage and President of the Bourne-Wareham Kiwanis Club. The special events and fundraisers have been my responsibility since our inception. We have founded 9 sub-groups for Children called Service Leadership Programs in the Bourne and Wareham School systems and I am the advisor to 3 of the groups. We recently completed a very successful toy drive in our town. We divided the toys up 1/2 to each of the towns of Bourne and Wareham. We also work hard to raise money for the Jimmy Fund and volunteer to do many events for the Jimmy Fund and for Children's Hospital."
