Millennials are buying homes. This much is known. But, despite the much-discussed generation making their entrance into the housing market, many still are still very uneasy about the process. 75% of first-time Millennial homebuyers admit they are overwhelmed by the process of homebuying. Things that are contributing to their nervousness is job stability, relationships, the state of the economy, changes from the 2020 elections and their student loan debt. Out of the percentage that say they are planning on buying a home in the next 12 months only 30% have spoken to a lender and only 52% say they have started saving for a down payment.
